The challenge:

Backflow prevention for water supply lines is critical and increasingly required by local plumbing codes. Reliable, certified protection against backsiphonage, backpressure and cross-connections is important for protecting the public water supply. However, achieving compliance with reduced pressure zone (RPZ) valves can be costly, inconvenient and messy.

Now there's a better way.

VistaCheck® backflow preventers can eliminate the need for expensive RPZ valves, vacuum breakers, and air gaps for the vast majority of installation requirements. Available in a complete range of sizes from 1/4" to 1-1/2", VistaCheck backflow preventers are infinitely adaptable to all types of fittings and materials.

Unlike heavy, brass backflow preventers that contain trace amounts of lead, react with chlorine and can clog when used with hard water, VistaCheck backflow preventers are light-weight and durable, free from lead and hazardous chemicals, and completely non-reactive to chlorine and hard water.

A history of innovation

Originally developed for use in conjunction with dental and medical water treatment devices, VistaCheck exceeds FDA medical device requirements and is made from medical-grade components suitable for food contact.

While the original VistaCheck 1/4" and 3/8" backflow preventers were designed for low-flow applications and featured convenient, push-to-connect fittings, today the product lineup accommodates high flow rates and a wide range of connection types thanks to 1/2" to 1-1/2" FNPT injection-molded threads for maximum flexibility.
